    Running Ruff Low Power

Every engine is a bit different so you will still need to set the idle mixture screws and idle speed on your car. Check that your vacuum ports are all connected properly or plugged if unused. Double check that your mounting stud nuts are secure (they don't have to be real tight a nut driver is...

Guess what I found in my dumpster 12-3-24

That era Zenith's were modular. The easiest TV to service. I've worked on a few back in the early 90's at the 1000 room resort I worked at that still had 1970's TVs in most rooms. WAY easier to identify the circuits on a rudimentary card (and then swap the card to test) than follow the traces...

    Running Ruff Low Power

The restoration shop tested it on a running engine at their shop before they shipped it so I did just bolt it on. Never drove the car before I received it as it needed work. So can’t really say how it ran prior except driving it off the trailer and down the end of the street into the garage.

Guess what I found in my dumpster 12-3-24

Looks like a TV service kit for repair techs. Has some Zenith brand, individually packaged IC's and transistors. Also a tester with an interesting interface on the back, possibly to test various legs of those IC's. ...and a reference booklet listing models by "first built" date from 1972 to 1984.

    Cost of Importing from Canada?

I have always been under the opinion, observation, that it's us Canucks that have a PITA importing a car. We have to give 3 days notice of showing up at the border with said car. All paperwork already has to be forwarded/faxed to the border point you're crossing and must include a valid title /...

    Roof Rail Weather Strip Seal

Mine is a coupe also, almost an 1/8" gap between the pop out window bottom and 1/4 panels, both sides. It's almost unnoticeable unless you really look at it.

here's where things started, to where they are now. i started with a 68-70 parts car. nothing forward of the firewall, no floors, and nothing behind the rear window, though it did come with a trunklid and tail panel. i managed to find a solid-where-it-counted 66 parts car. the body was...

    Cost of Importing from Canada?

First off it depends on if the car was originally sold in Canada or in the US. If originally a US model you are just returning it here, although it still goes through customs. If a Canadian model then you are basically importing it from scratch and I believe the costs and process increase. No...
