Old Ohio junkyars, know of any ?

I've had very good results by going to local family restaurants, and striking up conversation with any locals, and if they have lived there for any length of time, most will likely be able to provide good information about any junk/salvage yards to you. Best of luck finding a yard.

71-72 b-body street cars...what are you running for tire/wheel sizes

Years ago I ran 15x7 front with 225/70r15 and 15x8 rear with 275/60r15 on my 73 Charger. On a 7" rear wheel I would stick to no wider than 255/60r15 if it were mine.

    Trans Howl

...and the fluid and filter changed after initial 36,000 and thereafter every 12,000 miles (see Trailer Towing Requirements in this manual). !#*@&. And right there it said there is a filter. My reading comprehension abilities are in the toilet. Apologize making you look that up. Interesting...

    Splines and retainer

The small retainer has a smaller bolt circle. My 4 speeds are somewhat buried and it's 3 degrees out. But from what I could measure the early 70s sb had a 3 5/8 circle and the 69 bb 4 1/8 circle and the 70 np445 4 1/4. I think you will probably find that you either need to bore your bell, find...

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that the car is put away for the winter. My stepdad put it away in mid to late September. We took it to the last show of the year at Lebanon Valley Dragway in NY, and we were lucky enough to get a “Top 30” award. My stepdad also got a nice...

Spent the weekend in the hospital

Well back here again. This time to fix the problem. Had a stint put in the carotid artery this morning. Here till tomorrow and hopefully never again for these issues. Light duty for a while but I am sure I can find light duty stuff that needs to be done on the cars!

    Sending unit

I have a note from National Moparts the fuel sending units sold of late might be/are/were linear, the OEM original sending units were NON-LINEAR. My posts about fuel gauge issues were about the Autometer 5715, a non-linear gauge. Waiting for more information, this is just a FYI note in case you...

WTB Carter MS-4589SA Fuel Pump for 1970 383 HP - Used OK

I don't believe the Carter fuel pumps can easily be rebuilt. But these are still available new, albeit, no longer made in the USA. Same goes for the Airtex. There is a another type, that CAN be rebuilt, with 8 screws around the perimeter, that sometimes shows up on searches of the 4589 part...
