I don’t remember all the post and I’m not going back to read
I’d at this point get some race gas. At least ten gallons. Try to get it to run right. If you prove it wants higher grade fuel now, and didn’t before, I’m thinking you have carbon build up, something damaged that now creates a hot...
It’s obviously not the same, but I put a new NOS made in the USA ignition switch in my 69. The gauges only work when the key is in the perfect position. Otherwise they are off. I have to position the key just right. Drove me nuts until I noticed that fact.
Even worse, the starter had a bad...
Depends on when it fully opens. That and the capability of the system determine what it will run at in a given ambient temp. I can tell you for a fact a 180 runs cooler that a 195 in my 440.
I rehabbed my system a couple years ago and fixed a poorly done 134a conversion. I’ve been waiting for the compressor seal to go since it was only thing I didn’t change. So far so good anyway. Most guys have told me how tough the RV2 is, the seal is a bit of a weak link as it was never intended...
If it’s being sold without glass in it, all bets are off. Wait until you see how the trim lays around the back glass. These things always go for a disproportionate amount given what done cars go for. Why give 25k for one that needs 75k of work and parts when you can give 60-75k for a finished...
That doesn’t show anything to validate any claims being made. At all. That only looks to be some custom headers that won’t fit virtually any application and a custom intake of unknown origin.
The gauges are roasted. Looks like the f8 69 bee I pulled out of nm about twenty years ago. Sat out there and needed a full redo from fading of EVERYTHING. looks like they skipped that here.
No Pentastar…
Ideally she’d get somebody to do a drive video and one with the idle at curb. If it...
I drive my manual drum 69 GTX in the city burbs all the time. I actually drive shockingly similar to the way I do my full size suv. The brakes feel eerily like each other and that one has 4 wheel discs. It can panic stop better, and do more hard stops in a row. Spirited driving is no problem, at...
I just got my 440 source mounts in the mail today. The Korean ones somebody used 20 years ago seem to be causing a vibration. They are known junk. The ones I bought were pretty cheap given today’s price of life...
This is the water pump belt I’m running. I wanted Goodyear brand to keep ac delco off the car, but this was in stock that day. Also the starter has held up so far, so…score some points for the brand x guys.

A 160 can make a difference if it is open fully and the system can maintain a certain temp. A 180 is cooler by far than a 195 in my car. Really shouldn’t be if the theory holds true on “equilibrium.”
I’ve got a four hole to change laying here now. I took off a stupid “heat shield” thin piece of metal that only contributed to the fuel boiling and installed a two hole. Dumbest part ever made is that heat shield, why are they sold?
All I could find locally. Solved the issue, but whistles at...
