This morning I ordered a full set of UMI upper and lower tubular control arms and QA1 tie rod adjusters. These will be going on my ‘58 Apache with a Nova front sub. Summit, Jets and Speedway Motors all offer private label control arms for a lot cheaper but the UMI are made in the USA.

I replaced everything on my 62 Dart with brake parts from Dr Diff. Master is easily sourced, not sure on the part number, but it's a modern unit. Brake lines with fittings installed came from Inline Tube, iirc.

I don't know what the cause of the tighter steering feel could be. Many times when I am learning things, I fumble around until I figure it out. Maybe the center shaft of the column is off center in relation to the column outer housing and it is rubbing?

I agree, need to find the hot setting, then figure out cold, and use it from there. I imagine trying to get to the valves before they cool off in a hemi would be " un fun"

Depends on the efi system, iirc. My FiTech controls the in-tank pump, has a wire from the ecu specifically for it.

Much better, I wonder if that was the source of the noise when the front wheels went over bumps…
