How deep is that pan, and do you have internal pickup? Do you have a part number for it?
I will have to modify or replace the old Moroso-pan. Centerlink hits the pan at full turn, and the pan hangs very low.
Just rebuilt and installed this engine...I have two 440's for my RR and the other one...
Wish i had this version of the Moroso pan. My pan is an old version, without the notch.
I just installed the other 440 for my 1970 RR, and learned that center link is hitting pan at full turn.
Will have to modify the pan or get a new one.
Unlike many modern automatics, TF-727 can live well on a variety of ATF fluids. But fully synthetic will withstand heat better than mineral based fluid.
I use ATF+4 compatible fluid in my Durango with 45RFE-transmission, and semi synthetic ATF in my road runner with 727. You can mix different...
