I have a marantz quad 8 track player, but no quad receiver. I saved it from a rummage sale for $5. I have been watching FB for a quad, sometimes the Pioneer version shows up but the ones for fair money end up sold to flippers while I am at work around here. I will eventually stumble into one I...

Found a new project. Ram D250

For your application I doubt you will be looking for more power, but if you ever are, or you have reason to replace that Y pipe, don't do factory. I found a JBA Y pipe for my Dakota that was 2.5" into 3" that was mandrel bent and it made a noticeable increase.

Did you order a factory Y pipe or are you re-using one? The factory pipe on my dakota I could touch my thumb and index finger together when I wrapped them around the bend areas lol. Slightly restrictive.

Panasonic made really nice, durable stuff in the 80's and 90's. My brother got one, pre-CD style, when he was in Junior high for Christmas. When he was a senior, he upgraded to a CD capable JVC, which I still have. The Panasonic was taken to the barn and survived there playing every time the...

My Yamaha is getting sad but it is(was) rated at 110w. It is from the 90's so it doesn't scale up as well as old stuff, but a LOT better then modern AV stuff can. These speakers I have are very thirsty. They are rated at 4 ohm, not 8. They can handle 300+ watts, at 4ohm. They are thirsty. From...

I would love a vintage big power receiver. I have a mid 90's Danon thta is about 50wpc but is very very strong and sounds great on smaller speakers. my other receiver is an early 90's Yamaha with more juice but it is getting very tired and sad and should really be retired to garage unit. I want...

    Mecum Auction cars under $15,000

40's cars make the best hot rods. People spend gonzo dollars altering them into the iconic stuff we all know for the last 50 years. In stock form? Even perfectly restored they are a project car waiting to get converted into American gearhead art.

We need some true gearhead channels on Rumble. More music as well. I like the platform, compared to youtube anyway.

The crappiest exhaust system system you've ever heard.....

I hate the half hearted ricer alterations. Won't spend enough to put an actual system on the car, but decides to spend enough to add a giant tip and then cut the muffler out. However, the absolute worst thing I have ever heard was back in the mid 90's on a coworker's late 80's(square yet)...

FELPRO makes a kit with pre-molded silicone end rails. They fit perfect. Pretty easy to line them all up as well.

Don't forget to put a rubber cap on that vacuum port on the passenger side of the intake. The driver side gets the brake booster vacuum, but 9/10 the passenger side is capped. It gets pretty hard to see it once everything is back in, alternator back on etc. When you go to install, the little...

    Unleaded or diesel?

There is no way that they all got delivered by one driver, or that multiple drivers all screwed up. This means at the end of the pipeline, at the junction where the trucks all go to fill from the huge tanks, one of those tanks got filled with the wrong stuff. Some pipeline that was supposed to...

Craftsman ratchet set on sale on Amazon

Tools your grandkids can pass to their kids: Craftsman at least 1980's or older. Not my preference but lots have good memories. SK 1980's or older Armstrong late 1990's or older(this stuff is invincible) Thorson from the 1980's. it is made in Taiwan but it is true to size and you will not...

9/10 it shows up on a classic car lot/dealer. But not for the price they paid, for 6 figures instead.

    Teslas are literally death traps.

If I was the property owner and someone dragged a lithium fire onto my property from a public space I would sue.

    Teslas are literally death traps.

This is very different then the door handle thing. Buyers of this car would have a reasonable expectation that the car would meet impact safety like any other car on the road, nothing about the design would stand out as a flaw or potential disaster at a glance, or during a test drive, or any...

    Top 3 Greatest Guitarist Ever

I like to listen to classical guitar on occasion also. I know that hasn't been on the theme of this thread necessarily, but there are artists out there in this genre thta rarely get recognized. My personal favorite is John Feeley. He has the talent to play some of the most challenging classic...

I agree! One is logic based and one is driven by crazies and scammers. :) One born every minute still applies after all these years.
