I need to replace the wiper motor on my 69 Dart. 2-speed. It looks like there are a lot of knock offs. What's a good one to use? Rebuilding the old one is not an option right now. It would take too long.
In my 65 Belvedere, I have an aftermarket Bosch temp gauge. The sending unit was acting up, sometimes working, not working blah blah blah. Well the threaded stem seemed loose and was moving when I tried to unscrew the nut. And the nut seemed to be somewhat stripped. I had a stock sending unit...
I was driving into work yesterday in my 69 Sport Satellite convert and it just died on the highway. I pulled over, tried to start it and it did not sound right. The starter was not turning the motor over smoothly. It was hacking and weezing. With no tools, I just had AAA flatbed it home. I'm...
I've been putting my 65 Belvedere wagon together this past winter. Now I am almost at the end. I see the light at the end of the tunnel.
My issue is with Mancini Racing.
Back in October I ordered the headers through them. I kept getting the "It's on back order" for months. I finally called...
Reading through all the posts about trans kickdowns I saw a post about not driving without one. In all my years I've never been told this. Will it hurt the tranny? I've always had them myself but what about the guys running various aftermarket shifters? I had a friend back in the 80s that would...
As I said in an earlier post my 273/904 in my 65 Belvedere wagon is coming out. I have a 360 from a 1989 Ramcharger. I'm not looking for power. This is just a cruiser. Should I use this motor? Also are all the bolts metric on it? I will have to tear it down but it ran fine before the truck was...
So yesterday my buddies and I went to a concert a little over an hour away. It was Anthrax, Black Label Society and Hatebreed. We took the wagon just for the cool factor plus I picked up a stove for one of my apartments. Anyway it was another hot and humid day. Wagon was fine and we got home...
So I got a new speedo cable from Joe Suchy for my 65 Belvedere wagon. Got it all together and took it for a test drive. Speedo still doesn't work. Has anyone tried using a drill on the tranny side to turn the cable? I heard of this trick many years ago to see if the speedometer is working.
I am putting a suregrip in my wife's wagon. It's the first time I ever saw the little aluminum tag that says "Use Sure Grip Fluid". Is there really any difference than standard gear oil or should I use something else?
I have the gas tank out of my wife's 65 Belvedere wagon. Nothing wrong with it, just dirty and some surface rust. Should I just wire brush it and degrease and brush on the chassis paint? The paint similar to POR15.
This is a 68 Coronet wagon. Are those aftermarket frame connectors or did the factory ad them to the 9 passenger wagons for added support? Also did they offer the 440 in the wagons? I thought the 383 was the biggest engine and 440s were saved for the C-bodies?
