Many of the 440 HP Chargers I have seen in 1971 have the radiator upper hose outlet on the passenger side of the radiator. A few have it on the left (driver's) side. Anyone know why they used 2 different ones? My right side upper outlet is a 959 radiator. Is the 960 radiator used for the left...

Let me know how that works for you. The hood hinges on my 1971 are getting weak. I'd like them to get back to holding up the hood better!

Anyone done this lately? Wondering if I have to remove the instrument cluster face plate (Rallye cluster) to get to the screws, or can it be removed from under the dash without doing that? Non-AC car. Thanks.

If you are interested in an original there is one on E Bay right now. It's the one with the rectangular end facing the driver.

Nice. We had one years ago. B5 blue. 440 4 speed and manual brakes and steering with the air grabber. Great car but lost track of it. Rare too.
