Quarter windows are held in place with setting tape. Rear trim on hardtop/vert door glass is as well.
Sounds like I need a variety or try to measure first and get close.
Thanks.
About to install new glass in my '67 convertible. Just curious what thickness tape I need.
The only thing I could find was 0.025" for a '70. I assume that would be the same for a '67, but hate to make assumptions.
Thanks!
I'm finally getting around to rebuilding the tracks and putting my glass back... '67 Belvedere convertible. Windshield and rear are new. Passenger door glass has some deep scratches, so I've decided to just replace the side glass.
So far Classic Industries is the only place I've found it. I...
Pretty sure you have the tall and short backwards. I thought the 67 bow was taller for the glass.
I see plastic offered for 67 and later, but not sure I've seen anyone who actually has it, and that it actually fits.
I still have my old glass window with most of the vinyl. I could measure...
We've done some shuffling lately, but currently have 3. All tagged and insured, though the Plymouth hasn't been out much. Trying to fix that.
Current line up is:
'67 Belvedere II Convertible 318/727. My only true Mopar by some standards.
'13 JKU. My wife's. Commando green
'22 Rebel Hemi...
I ordered a top kit for my '67 Belvedere a while back. At the time it didn't even dawn on me that they sent me a plastic window. Looking back now I see they don't even offer glass where I bought it.
So, now looking for new glass. I'm sure there must be other suppliers, but I'm only seeing it...
I forgot to mention I have Addco sway bars. The front is installed, the rear is still hanging on the wall with the bars for my C10.
Again, not looking for a stiff ride, just need to keep it off the bump stops. I've read through tons of threads here and on other forums, and there are just so...
I buy, sell and trade all the time. Everyone is surprised I've had Belle for so long. My girls both had a truck they were attached to, but I sold them and bought my wife a new Jeep. She had been driving an old firetruck I resurrected. It was an 87 K20. Fire engine red with a white metallic...
So, my car is already lowered. I set it up on a very low budget back in 2006. She's a 318/727, power steering and brakes, but no A/C. Could see adding A/C someday, but not soon.
I have decided it's time to make some changes and drive her more. One of those is upgrading suspension and...
Thanks! And good luck with yours.
My dad passed in 2016, and my Belvedere was always his favorite car, even though he had some pretty cool ones along the way. That was part of my decision as well. He thought it was cool that I would want the old Chevy, but thought the Plymouth should be my...
Well, it's been over three weeks, since I listed her. I've had tons of interest and questions, a few trade offers, but no serious buyers.
Every time I answered a question or saw the ad, I thought to myself, is this the right thing to do? And I've finally come to the conclusion, no. It isn't...
Right now it's looking like a 2011-14 Mustang GT. Seems to check all the boxes for us.
Just have to get the car sold. Got a lot of interest and a few trade offers (nothing I've said I was interested of course)...
I'm not worried about wringing the last dollar out of anyone. Just want it...
Thanks. I was more worried about this post getting deleted. On some forums just mentioning I'm thinking about selling my car outside the classifieds will get it deleted.
This was exactly what I needed. I honestly hadn't even thought about posting for sale here, and still not sure if I will...
Yeah, I was originally thinking high teens, with $15k being my bottom dollar. Sounds like I wasn't far off. I've always said it's better to price high and come down. You can't go up. I've found that when someone is truly interested in the car and not just a flipper or keyboard warrior...
