    Estimated 1/4 mile - 71 Roadrunner 340 4 speed

Also, rubber mounts moving around could be causing some of your shifting problems. Don’t worry, you have a LOT of time to try things.

    RIP Professor (Mecum)

I’m watching the latest episode in Kissimmee right now at dialysis, the other one I watched was a rerun. They had a tribute to him at the top of the show, and they said he passed away from leukemia.

FOR SALE Original 1968 1969 1970 Dodge Charger Stainless Belt Molding set.

I am selling my LAST original 1968 1969 1970 Charger stainless belt molding set. At one time I had about 10 sets and now that my Chargers are gone this is the last set. There are a few small dings in the drivers door piece highlighted by the blue tape with arrows. This molding set comes with a...

    Most significant suspension upgrades, thoughts?

I didn't expect my Charger to handle like a Viper so probably not much help for you in that category but I am very happy with the way my car performs. I have the Borgi steering gear and I believe that will fix your #1 complaint. I have the stock front sway bar and the Firm Feel 3/4" rear bar. I...

I’ve had “solids” since late 70’s, don’t even notice them; and nothing to worry about.

    Help, quick please

I've had them go in real easy, and they didn't last long. And had ones like yours that are very tough to install. I suggest softening them up in some hot water and use a lubricant.

Why Does the Engine in My 64 Belvedere Set So Far Forward

The Polara’s motor is identical to mine and we measured from the carburetor stud to the radiator support. Both the Fury and my car has a 440 in it with different intakes so we measured from the firewall to a valve cover bolt. Nothing is cobbled up on any of the cars so it’s either a tolerance...

Anyone have detailed pictures or INSTRUCTIONS ON 68-70 CHARGER INNER SAIL PANEL INSTALL OR REAR WINDOW INTERIOR TRIM/MOLDING?

Thanks for the great pics. So to clarify, headliner and package tray are installed first, then the rear window inside trim afterward? I'll be doing this eventually when I reassemble my interior after body & paint.

    Subframe Connectors and unibodies

"I do think ANY bracing, plates, tubes etc. added to a unibody, even bolt in ones, will help stiffen it and create an overall stronger chassis." So would a heavy coat of paint I suspect. That was not really the question, unless what are you willing to settle for is any incremental improvement...

    Any lift off hood dislikes

I'm restoring my 69 Dart right now. I bought the Hemi style lift off hood years ago. I'm still going to keep it. I'm tall so taking it off by myself is not an issue. Plus there is the wow factor.
