    Would the CAP system be called out on the build sheet? If so, where? A buddy has a 67 Hemi GTX and he says there is a “7” in the box for the distributor. This is odd because neither the CAP nor the non-CAP distributors end in a 7.

    The issue is oil drainback from the heads, not the lifter valley. If you aren’t going to race the car, you shouldn’t have any issues with an HV pump.

    Need A12 RR hood measurement (factory original hood)

    For instance, in the attached picture the distance is 3 3/8”. But I’m not sure whether I need to build up the center post to meet the bottom of the hood scoop or push the scoop down to meet the center post.

    Time to paint, do I have enough?

    I recommend activating the basecoat. It makes touch-ups much easier because the existing basecoat won’t lift or pucker when you spot in the new basecoat. Read the data sheet or ask your paint jobber to determine what to use to activate it.
