I'm going to change out my 15"x7 American racing rims for Cragar SS rims, what is the widest 15" Cragar SS rim that will clear the rear wheel wells on a stock 1966 Charger with air shocks?
My 66 Chargers fuel gauge reads full all the time it returns to empty when the key is off. If I unplug the wire to the sending unit, the gauge reads full. It also reads full when the sending unit wire is grounded. The voltage at that wire bounces between 0 and 10v Any Ideas?
My fuel gauge gives inaccurate readings. I never know what's really in the tank. The sending unit was changed during the rebuild but it's from China so who knows. Anyone have any idea what the problem might be? Also who sells a good replacement fuel sender?
I was able to repair both my headlight motors with help from the 66-67 Charger source guide. Everything works fine, But after the doors close and everything is turned off the motors get hot. Also my headlight hold open switch works opposite of how it's supposed to. Does any one have any ideas...
When I first purchased my 66 The trunk wouldn't open, I crawled thru the back and got it open. Then I took the lock to a locksmith, And he couldn't match it. I never have been able to find an original, So I bought the Chinese replacement most venders sell and found a way to mount it. It worked...

I'm trying to remove the long aluminum ridge trim piece from My 66. I am having a hell of a time getting this off. It keeps wanting to twist and spread. I just put it on and now have to take it back off. I did use aluminum tape where the clips go. Is there a trick to this? Any tips appreciated.
Finally ready to put trim on, My car came with a basket of parts, I've got the trim pieces but no hardware. Does anyone know what type and size fastener is used to put these diecast trim pieces on?
