    Front End Alignment

Did my own alignment for the first time recently and am very happy with the outcome.. i had bad tire noise going over bumps (like sqeaking) that was from too much toe in... I used a small bubble gauge to do camber and twine and a tape measure for the toe-in.. car drives perfect with a straight...

I'm not sure either. The 17" wheels show more of the drums than 14" or 15" would. On an upcoming sunny day, I'll roll it outside in the sun soon and step back for a look. Fortunatey, it's an easy fix if I decide to repaint them.

    Replacement Alternator AMP Max

So far so good on the amps at idle. It’s a 65/35 max amp alternator. I drove the car yesterday evening and ran with AC on, stereo on and headlights on and no issue. This is the 4th time I’ve done this since I got everything put back together. Again, wanted to be cautious in the alt I purchased...

I wonder how he pulled 104 MPH out of it on that one timeslip. Even the 100MPH is pretty good for a 383.

Storing tires. On their sidewalls or standing up on the treads.

This is about two tires only. Do you guys store tires sitting on their sidewalls on top of each other or side by side on the their treads? I have them wrapped in black plastic bags in a temperature controlled and dry basement.

    Replacement Alternator AMP Max

I do have another question related to my alternator. I had an aftermarket, small amp/subwoofer installed last year. I noticed that they connected a wire from the battery to the bulk head connector AND ran a wire from the alternator stud to the bulkhead as well. My questions is why a wire is ran...

Original Fan? Radiator re-core (if needed).

I'll shut up now. I always thought small block radiators had the outlet on the right side.

Swap windshield wiper motor from 2 speed to 3 speed

I'm sure the rocker is the same. I swapped a used 2 speed rocker onto a modified c body 3 speed switch without issue.

Aftermarket parts will be a last resort. Will do my best to find original anywhere I can. Awesome job resurrecting that white interior! On a good note where this interior will need a lot of work to clean it up, it does not appear that there were any rodents in the car! Thanks Pat

The '69 Road Runner I inspected for a fellow FBBO member a few months ago had an identical original interior. Previous owner had replaced the lower portion with original fabric with a slight patina, and I could not tell it had been done, blended perfectly with the rest.

Show me your Classic Car/Truck Cell Phone Mount

I rarely use the phone in the car for obvious reasons, but when I do, have this one that tightens into a cup holder in my '63 Plymouth. Can insert and remove using one hand. Most of the time it's stowed in the console.
