I'm using the original grill and trying to restore it the best I can. The chrome plating around the headlights is flaking off. Any suggestions on how to make it look nice? Should I remove it all and paint? Thanks!

When I was still trying to make my 383 Scamp a column shift, I came across plastic bushings Mopar used for many years.
This fits my 68 Road Runner too...
I see they do show this piece with the plastic attached and not the rubber steel core like I have. It doesn't make any difference to me as long as the plastic will work in my bracket. I guess if it doesn't, I'll be buying this whole piece.
