Too hot out to work on my car cept early morning :( Wedges for the rear still haven't shown up..
Yesterday i pulled the exhaust to change mufflers, redid my trans mount so it is like a trans mount now :) pretty happy with that... and... just waiting now.. 90+ and 90% humidity.. screw it...
Man.. Transgo just emailed me back and might have found my issue.. and i am a bit shocked if they are right... so... Car is a slug and won't rev or make decent power.. their guess is that it could be stripped splines on the stator on the pump.. which i doubt since no weird noise or anything...
For a manual trans i would just use X under the vacuum at idle (i say X cause i used half on my own car due to it being low vacuum to start with.. if you have like 16 inches i wouldn't go half) BUT.. i measured in gear at idle due to thats the condition the PV would be working in during driving...
Check your accel pump, make sure there isn't any play in the arm/adjuster (i assume you have a holley) it should squirt as soon as you crack the throttle.. that would be the first thing i would check..
For power valve what i used to do it check vacuum in gear at idle and go half of that.. (i'm...
I don't know which is why i'm posting... my converter issue is pointing to too much charge pressure (waiting on a fitting to test that) and just wanted to test the line pressure since i could do that now..
Just found the nfo on Sonnax's page...
So im reading like 90% too high.. Does line pressure effect TC charge pressure?
If what i read is right the allen adjuster on the VB only changes the pressure a few psi per turn which if true would lean more to i messed something up when doing the tf2...
Yeah, i did woodward/gratiot (more gratiot) from 87-93ish.. was born a little too late... the mopar club here is out on gratiot pretty much every weekend still
Finally got a pressure gauge, so far just checked the accumulator port, in first i get a steady 100psi, if i pull the tv arm back it goes upto 150psi.. not sure where it's supposed to be. Did a search and keep getting different opinions..
Am going to check the cooler line pressure but am...
K.. very unproductive day.... my brakes only push 400psi, not 1000 like they should... no idea where to look, hoping i have air trapped somewhere but i don't think it would kill the pressure that bad..
Ordered a pressure bleeder.. looks nice.. hook it up, supposed to pump it to 15psi.. i get...
Problem is my brain won't let me settle on what i like :) I kinda like the bottom one... i have my front rims stripped and ready for paint.. might go red and black like yours,...
Maybe... i'm just not happy... maybe the rims shoulda been red.... Also kinda wanna fix the paint.. but everything from bout 8" up on the quarters is the original paint (which i rubbed through in spots trying to save it) least i don't need to worry bout scratches :)
