    Hating winter already :( Still hoping to have a new motor by april.. will see how it goes. still no word on my block, hoping getting a stroker kit won't take 6 months. Just ordered a new carb.. and going to order some trans stuff since i will have the car apart, new sprag and some upgrades...

    ohh one quick thing.. which i didn't know.. early bodies use a smaller steering box bolt than 66+ so the box will have 1/2" holes.. the bolts are 7/16" (i think that was the sizes) i had to get some sleeves to take up the space, my steering box was moving back and forth a bit before i did that..

    I tried all the tricks everyone said.... at the end of the day i ended up with a propane torch and putty knife, followed up with a angle grinder and knotted wire wheel... It's just one of those jobs that sucks but have to get through it

    I went with this cooler... It's a little big but.. rather overkill than under, use copper/nickel line.. sooo nice to work with. Did bulkhead connectors through the lower support, tried to use as little rubber as possible (have like 3" of rubber total in the lines) P.S. power steering cooler...

    I used to be a factory rat and got so used to waking at 5am that it never stopped.. no alarm needed.. just CLICK.. i'm awake. I tend to go to work by 6am.. i don't open til 8 but if i'm here i take customers. P.S. 2 nights ago a woodpecker decided to hit my house at 2am... laid there til 4:30...
