maybe i missed it, but are you only running lap belts or do you have shoulder belts too? i didnt see a cage in the car, so i'm assuming you dont need one? what kind of event is this? wondering if there is something similar in the midwest
did you change the k member or use the schumacker conversion mounts? i installed a 440 with tall valve covers and had no problem with the power brake booster.
hey guys, we are here to support to builders with our kits. also the kit posted above is our baseline kit. we have all the billet pulleys and a low mount ac version as well. unlike some of the serpentine belt companies that just cobble stuff together, we actually engineer the kits and test...
if you look closely, the meziere electric pump swaps the location of the water pump inlet to the block. its higher than the factory inlet from the cast housings. that's why they call that reverse cooling, but in reality it still feeds the block. the only way to cool the heads first is to...
we have plenty of kits out there running reverse rotation. I have an engineering degree in mechanical engineering and when I designed the system we tested the flow with both directions and there is no real difference in performance. there are some pumps that don't work, these are the ones...
with the water pump spinning backwards its doesn't cool the heads first. the flow of water is not changed through the block. we at sdconcepts developed the reverse spinning big block water pump design for packaging purposes. if any company is trying to sell you a reverse rotation setup as...
we've done an ultra low mount with ac and an electric water pump. pic is on our facebook page. we could probably also modify this setup to work with an electric water pump. feel free to call and pick our brains.
yes I did this in my 74 satellite. as long as you have the power linkage from the booster on the earlier b body the late model cordobe booster should line up just fine. in fact. i'm setup here to do it on my 73 charger as well, just haven't got to it yet. the positions of the all the lines...
my guess, just looking at their design, the pulley is moved really far forward away from the body of the pump, and the extra torque on the bearings probably wears the bearings prematurely. on our kit we designed it so everything works in the same plane.
check out our kits at sdconcepts. few of the members here use them and there is a great writeup on the install of one our kits on the restomod page. and if you check youtube out, Dylan McCool just put one in his 2nd gen charger
