I am having a 1969 hemi GTX inspected on Monday. The sellers and I have agreed on a price pending the outcome, but I expect it to go well. If I am correct about the inspection results, there is one thing I would like to change, and that's the stock gear shift. Mid-year of 1969 a Hurst 4-speed...
I'm in the market for a nice, original hemi GTX. No clones, and no projects, I've had enough of those, I want something done. 4-speed or auto, can be a replacement engine, but an original J code car. Will certainly consider a well-optioned Hemi road runner of the same dates. Thanks gang.
Thanks! I have decided to pass on the car. Not wealthy enough to risk that much money should it turn out to have been stolen somewhere along the line. I don't suspect the current seller is knowingly trying to sell a car with a"modified" VIN, but its not worth a risk, even a small one. Thanks again.
I am thinking about buying a 68 charger R/T hemi car, and found this one. As I have dug into it some, the seller sent me the following:

I am looking for the following:
Headlight doors, both sides. Need to be in very good condition, or simply need to be painted. No holes, chips or cracks.
Wiring harness. Engine was originally a 383, now a 440. I'm guessing the harnesses are the same.
Thanks
Steve
I need both headlight doors for a 68 charger, and they need to be in very good condition. I am still hunting online for reproductions, but no luck yet. Anyone know of any?
