Is that an input shaft pump hub mismatch some of the input shaft had a larger metal seal ring your input shaft has 2 it looks like the pump hub had a larger ring running inside it eg 2 small 1 large seal ring could be loosing pressure to the clutch in 2nd
Or you could use a 8 HP70 8 speed with a JVX 440 adaptor kit & TCM2600 sound German controller you would need some tunnel work .
