That has not been my experience. There’s too many variables such as pitch, diameter, shroud or no shroud, etc… to make a blanket statement that 4 blade fans cool better.

I'm not a fan of the newer type of disc's (they build heat). With that said, a full faced disc is either been oil contaminated or overheated. At a minimum, you're looking at resurfacing/replacing the flywheel.
