Going to check a 68 Charger

I would look at the issue date on the title. If it confirms he's had the car for 20 years, why sell it after having all if that work done? (Did he find something more wrong? Or money/health issues?). If the issue date on the title does not confirm the 20 year claim, I would walk away.

What was the coolest toy you had as a kid?

A "Mold Master." It heated up a plastic then you pushed own a plunger forcing the plastic into a mold which made military vehicles, figures, and a lot of other things depending on the mold selected. Best toy in the world for someone whose Old Man worked in a foundry.

Anyone in the 'Falls City/Derby City' area know this car? Can check on this car?

What you can see on the underbody concerns me also. There appears to be some repair panels in place that look to be the standard EDP coating, there are a couple of places where you can see the spray on undercoating (what's hiding under that?). And in a couple of pics you can see rust under...

    Headlight door relay resto?

Do you have a number for that relay, and a "simple" schematic of how you wired it in?

    Headlight door relay resto?

Seeing the question on neutral safety switches made me think (a bad habit for me). Anyone doing restorations on the relay that operates the headlight doors on 70/71 Chargers?

    Bitchin' Rides is ending!

I liked "Fantomworks<" they tended to show more "real world" things that happen in the shop. Not just 30 minutes of jokes, "expert" commentary, and presto the car is finished. Particularly liked the show when Ed Miller built a Hem for them.

Dinosaur with a question for the tech gurus

Not being a fan of the can of fix-a-flat spare in the newer cars, looking at putting a full size spare in one. Question is, would putting a spare complete with a TPS sensor in the spare screw up the vehicle's tire pressure monitoring system? If so am I correct in assuming a spare without a TPS...

    Help With Go wing

I have a factory go wing on a 71 R/T. The decklids on the 70/71 cars had "cut-outs" in the decklid braces which located the support plates for the wing pedestals. Bolt the support plates to the braces and that gives you a template to locate the holes for the wing pedestals. The OP's pics do...

What size/type of trailer is common for a 68-70 Charger?

Have enclosed and open trailers hauling Chargers and a Daytona. As others have said, be sure to get the "escape" door on the left side so you can get in/out of the car in the trailer. One thing I added (wasn't an option with the manufacturer) was "ramp overs," these were 12" wide diamond tread...
