How to make a better home cooked hamburger ?

There was an interesting YouTube video weighing in on the "Wagyu vs other beef" burger question. Here's my takeaway, but I can't afford Wagyu so YMMV. Search it up. Wagyu beef has by far more marbling (fat) than other beef, it's actually meant to be for steak, not burgers. Maybe almost 1/3 to...

Name your favorite off brand muscle car

Wow, there's a lotta love for the Torino Cobra. Someone mentioned the Holden Torana, that's another top-5 on my list, though I'll never own one up here in Canada. That car just seems to have beautiful but simple lines and perfectly muscular proportions. Honorable mention! It's one of the first...

Name your favorite off brand muscle car

I own my favorite off-brand muscle car, too. If you were REALLY going to force one on me, I think I could do with a 1970 Torino Cobra with a 429. I wouldn't put up much of a fuss. I also dig the Aussie 1974 Falcon XB GT, which ironically looks very similar to the Torino Cobra.

Those wheels would be more at home on a Lincoln Navigator or Caddy Escalade. Too many spokes.

Another 'how old is everybody' thread.....

I'm 56, I was born in March of 1968. My Charger was born in the same month, but in 1970.

What are your Mopar goals for 2025?

For my '70 Charger, only focusing on short-term goals: 1. Finish front-end; install offset UCA bushings and bump stops. 2. Finish front brakes; install new rotors & bearings, pads, caliper pins. 3. Get car running for the first time in over a decade. 4. Install new carpets and sound deadener...

    New from the TN mountains

Very nice car to join the B-Body fray. Those wheels were oh-so-popular back in the 80's; those chrome steelies were put on everything. I put polished aluminum directional ones on my '70 back in that same era. What are your plans for the car? That car has an interesting paint stripe scheme, I...

Thanks, and we both agree on doing something different with our Chargers to make them stand out.

Show me your Classic Car/Truck Cell Phone Mount

I might have to look into a STRONG magnet mounted holder. I have tried a few kinds to mount a tablet in my '86 GN, I use it to display various engine parameters and monitor any detonation. I mounted a smooth metal plate in front of the shifter on the console and tried the suction cup type of...

Storing tires. On their sidewalls or standing up on the treads.

I'm always wondering how best to "store" tires that are already installed on the car, concerned about flat-spotting them if the car sits for 75% of the year, or even many years. Is it better to jack the car up on stands if it's going to have mounted tires installed and not drive for extended...

Pretty cool to shoot half empty spray cans......

One idiot friend of mine tossed a CO2 cartridge from a pellet gun into a campfire. Everyone vacated the area but nothing happened for a good while. We'd almost forgot about it when it finally exploded, that was quite a bang.

    1969 roadrunner shocks

I believe '69 RR shocks would be the same as for a '70 Charger. You might find this topic I made an interesting read. I went with Sachs 030816 front shocks from RockAuto as they're affordable and well-reviewed. Made a shocking discovery

Great picture from back in the day! I see what looks like a blue 4-door 1968 Monaco similar to one I used to own, the 6th car parked on the right side.
