Ok the bushing is a different dimension from the original. It is smaller/shorter to account for the additional washers. The washers add roughly an 1/8”.
Sorry guys. I didn’t know the “kit” was different from the original in that it uses washers. I just pulled one of two bags that contained only one bushing each. I didn’t look under the second bag containing the other bushing. At the bottom of the box were the loose washers.

Seriously, obviously it's not cold here. But it has been very windy here, like LA. Enough that I don't do much outside. The dogs however LOVE the "cold" weather.(long coat gsd's). I have to bribe them to come in from the wind. (The gf worries).
With that goal, there are other solutions, almost as effective and less long-term destructive IMO, such as a simple thin SS half shield hose clamped to the exhaust with any airgap, and/or gold heat reflective tape applied directly to the oil pan, etc
