Welcome Brett, I must say that must’ve been quite a dream! I’m glad it came true for you, it’s a gorgeous car. Settle in and make yourself at home here, you’re among good people!
When we were kids we lived in an old farm house with no insulation, old single pane windows and old wood doors. It was so cold in the winter that my brother and I slept in the family room where the old Ben Franklin stove was. We were poor because of circumstances from buying the house that...
Always. I share tables with my brother, and we always have a great time. This year a good friend of mine is also sharing our spot with us, so the more the merrier. We run a lot of sales throughout the day, including our famous “buy it even if you don’t need it” sale, and our ever popular “buy...
If you want to keep that look with the hood, but would like a correct 1970 hood, message me and we can deal on this one I have. I’ll be taking it to the big WPC swap meet down at the Macomb Tech Center in February if it doesn’t sell by then. It’s a 70 Satellite flat hood, with the scoop added.
I actually like them all, and I don’t gravitate towards a particular model, it has to be an intriguing example. The white GTO was mine when I was 17, and I promptly got 4 more. I loved those cars.
We grew up on a farm. Besides fixing everything under the sun, our parents and family had a long list of Mopars. When my brother and I both came of driving age, we got hand me down Mopars, my bother a 1971 Duster Rallye, 6 cyl 3 speed on the floor, mine was a couple years later, a 1973 Satellite...
I had my furnace replaced on Christmas by a nice old man, 5 days later he went up north to his cabin and killed himself because he was so sure Y2K was real and he was scared of what was coming!
I have a few clutch fans that will work, and I’m out in Pinckney. I also have a 70 6bbl manual car, if you’re interested in coming out, I can hook you up.
I have very little free time, but I do a lot of work every day. Every project I have going gets attention, from rebuilding my plow pump, an addition on my house, and car and truck stuff all the time. For this engine, I don’t need it, but I never shy away from a challenge. The stroker 340 I built...
Yep, it was complete. I’m very tenacious, and I will get it all apart, and I’ll send it over to the machine shop to be checked over. I love a hood challenge, it took me almost a year to free up another 340 that I now have built as a stroker for my wife’s car.
Well, it’s been abandoned for the better part of 10 years. All in the same state as when the owner died. Trying my best to get the family to let me help more to find everything new homes, but it hasn’t been easy. I’ll keep plugging away tho, there’s tons of great stuff there, all stuck in time!
