This could be it too, very weak pump. But you’d think once drained it would take along time to start cranking and cranking to pump enough to fill the bowl?
Agreed, an intentional effort to kill the key-in-switch buzzer function, fairly common really. Alternatively, I’ve have seen the corresponding female terminal/wire removed from the fuse block, left hanging, to accomplish this same result.
See told ya I didn’t know what I was doing. I can sweat copper pipes though, so if it’s the same thing as a blowtorch, flux, and solder, I could do that. Maybe @road robert could do that too. I’ll shut up now and quit putting in my two cents.
Look up a friend possibly a plumber, if a friend buy him lunch and a beer. Do you really want to risk having something happen on the road. Destroy your engine, suck the fan into the rad? Then a tow back!

I posted this in another thread but since I wasn’t the OP I didn’t want to hijack his thread. The Charger below is for sale and I inquired about it and the owner sent me the fender tag. Can I get some help decoding please. Thanks
Showed how in both my Superbird cleanup for Talledega thread, on here, and my 69 Swinger thread on A bodies. Both in the car and the Swinger for extra fun with headers. No special tools, couple of drywall screws .... didn't even pull the Swingers pan.
This is a pair of OEM Big Block Mopar Rocker Arm Shafts. They
are original Mopar, not cheap china knockoffs. They are in
good condition, just could use a cleanup. $75.00. Local pickup,
or buyer pays shipping.
Then be smart and take it to someone who can fix it right. Epoxy has its place and can be a quick fix but in this case I would never call it permanent or as strong as correctly soldering.
