For the most part nothing will work. Tranny bell wont mate to the motor for starters. The rest behind the tranny case is 4wd only. You need to find something with an overdrive out of a small block 2wd truck. RH not RE. Then you have a starting point.
Or you could use a 8 HP70 8 speed with a JVX 440 adaptor kit & TCM2600 sound German controller you would need some tunnel work .

I believe the two standard 426 blocks are 230 numbers.
The other standard 426 Block that has the ribs and 4 Bolt provisions
does not have a number on it of any kind.
