For the most part nothing will work. Tranny bell wont mate to the motor for starters. The rest behind the tranny case is 4wd only. You need to find something with an overdrive out of a small block 2wd truck. RH not RE. Then you have a starting point.

Or you could use a 8 HP70 8 speed with a JVX 440 adaptor kit & TCM2600 sound German controller you would need some tunnel work . Shifter is new Challenger stick shifter

I will, I believe the two standard 426 blocks are 230 numbers. The other standard 426 Block that has the ribs and 4 Bolt provisions does not have a number on it of any kind.

Nope. For what you want you should consider sticking with the 727 and go with a Gear Vendors overdrive.

All good advice you are getting. My 440 much same as yours, but I had block parallel decked for 10 in the hole icon forged slugs. Phoned Arp for the right headbolts. Used Cometic .027's 4.410. Trick Flow 240's. Final comp 10.23:1 No problems with this one.

got the max wedge manifolds i wanted for my 62 dart. then it hit me... can i run power brakes and a dual pot master with them??
