    1969 Charger Original Caliper Rebuild

Has anyone out there rebuilt calipers? I have the original disc brakes on the front of my 69. None of the original stuff has been replaced. With all the aftermarket stuff available is it worth rebuilding? Pain the a** or not complicated? I’m not worried about keeping my car original. I want to...

    Shroud Suggestions

Yes, but mine is off center more than usual given how its attached to the core support (car was originally a 318). I figured that out the hard way….

    Shroud Suggestions

Man, I really like this idea. Being able to put the whole wherever I need it would be especially helpful given how my fan is not centered on the radiator.

    Shroud Suggestions

Because the factory shroud is different from one side to another. One side the second attachment point is in the middle. The radiator I have, has no middle attachment section (only top and bottom).

Is there not a way to mount on the sides on this one? I don’t see where there is a side attachment options.

    Shroud Suggestions

I am needing to get a shroud put on in the next few months (68 Charger) and wanted to get some suggestions. I have a Cold case radiator (MOP754A). The radiator has an 1-1/2” x 4” flange top and bottom on each side for mounting too. I have the stock clutch fan (2863216). The car was originally a...

    Replacement Alternator AMP Max

So far so good on the amps at idle. It’s a 65/35 max amp alternator. I drove the car yesterday evening and ran with AC on, stereo on and headlights on and no issue. This is the 4th time I’ve done this since I got everything put back together. Again, wanted to be cautious in the alt I purchased...

    Replacement Alternator AMP Max

I do have another question related to my alternator. I had an aftermarket, small amp/subwoofer installed last year. I noticed that they connected a wire from the battery to the bulk head connector AND ran a wire from the alternator stud to the bulkhead as well. My questions is why a wire is ran...

    Replacement Alternator AMP Max

Yep, set up the headlight relay kit per the instructions which had me come off the alternator stud. My “struggle” with the alternator is that people’s responses were all over the place (ie factory 45amp set up is enough, go with 75, 85, 95 amp, etc). So the 65 amp in my head was a happy medium lol.

    Replacement Alternator AMP Max

Wanted to provide a quick update as there was a lot of responses to my question. First off, crackbacks headlamp relay kit fixed my light issue. My dud alternator did not have enough juice to keep them on however. I wound up going with a 65amp alternator from Napa that has a lifetime warranty. I...

    Replacement Alternator AMP Max

I am planning on doing the ammeter bypass at some point as that seems to be something a number of people on this forum are recommending. I did buy and install the headlight relay kit from crackback.

    Replacement Alternator AMP Max

Bob, why is replacing the drive sheave required?

    Replacement Alternator AMP Max

Needing to replace my alternator (68 charger 440, added AC). The alternator that was on the car had part # 3874271 on back. What is the biggest amp alternator I can go with without upgrading wiring?

Correct Water Pump Pulley for 440

I am wanting to check if my water pump pulley is the correct one for my set-up. I have a 440 non-ac car that I added a vintage air kit too. My water pump pulley is double groove, 6” in diameter, 2-3/4 deep. The part number on the pulley I have is 38979. Should the Water pump pulley for an AC be...
