Here's the aluminum glove box door hinges installed as of today. They worked flawlessly and shaved off 2.60 ounces weighing at 2.70 ounces for the pair. The stock types (below) as a pair weighed 5.30 ounces.
The online catalog must be wrong. I’ll have to call them.
The catalog does list graphite gasket. It says 4.180 but there is no selection for engine size.
All depends on caliber
I've tossed a few 9mms in a barrel fire
It had holes in the barrel next morning that wasn't there before hand
Did same years earlier with some 22s

It's the part that the shift cable snaps into on the valve body.
It is held in place on the valve body by an e clip.
Thanks
I like the Gen2 Corvettes the best.....but were not Corvettes made to be powerful AND have good brakes and turn corners? That is why they were so expensive! I was amazed when I looked at the sticker price in 66 when I first went into a Chevy dealership until I did some research on them. Same...
It has always bugged me about the best 'clocking' of the window winder handles in any vehicle I have restored.
I hate to have the handle against my leg while I'm driving whether the window be fully open or closed. It really is a pain to get the optimum position.
The interior is looking...
