Hedman Husltler headers in good shape. Looks like they were originally a chrome finish. Believe to be 2” tubes with 3-1/2” collector for big block. Part number 75320. All pieces/parts are there. Will ship at buyers expense.
Looks like it’s the input seal. Lots of oil all around the bearing retainer.
The shaft seals actually look pretty dry so I may leave them alone.

Yes you need to get your timing at idle up. Minimum 20-25*. Ill bet you gain gobs of idle vacuum. It will probably fix your rich idle because the PL won’t be open at idle .

Usually just everything in the engine compartment gets hot/brittle and suffers from corrosion.
I've never had any problems from the interior and rearward.
How did you size the jets for the promax plates? Did you use a drill index to determine the sizes of the holes in the fixed plates, and convert that to jet sizes?
Did you modify anything on the new plates?
