If anybody has a photo to post of a Max wedge setup with Chrome Valve covers and Air CLeaners that would be very helpful. I think my imagination has suffered with time! Thanks TK
Yeah, I agree. I was thinking of temporarily putting on a set of chrome and trying to get the originals powder coated which I would think would hold up better, but the problem is that the engine was done and painted maybe 7 years ago before I got it, and the orange now seems to have a off hue I...
I have the same issue but was also wondering in everyones experience if all Max Wedge passenger side valve covers have peeled paint from the exhaust manifold? I wonder how chrome would hold up? TK
Yes, thanks for the photos. I'm working with MoparSteve on a shroud he has, but mine is from a 65 C body Big Block and my side brackets only have two rectangular holes about midway up the core spaced maybe 4" apart. There are no captive nuts in them. Steve is checking to see if his shroud might...
I did check and it is a 22" radiator but I don't see any provisions to mount a shroud. The fan side of the radiator brackets have no holes to mount anything to. I'm wondering if the "C" body this came out of had a shroud to begin with?
Late last fall I picked up nice 65 coronet 500. Its got a 68 440 and 727 trans. I was going to add a radiator shroud and discovered that it has a 1965 383 C body radiator. Is there a shroud that might fit this combo? Any input is welcome.
