BURNOUTS, donuts and general showing off? Proper procedure??

Proper rolling burnout procedure requires line lock or stay home because some one will get hurt. Water is not needed but practice is...the car needs to be very predictable if you are going to do a proper rolling fueler style burnout. Any other burnout is child's play. Yehaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    Jet sizes for six pack

Bob, i bet i can make your six pak run better...but i don't work/provide technical support for free anymore. :poke: Fuel pressure is critical and no you do not need more than 6 psi. Float levels, operating temp, lot's of details. As far as jetting typically no more than a 64 in the ctr even in...

    1971 Superbird

The hemi six pak is not an anomaly...it was installed because the hemi 6 pak is way more efficient across the board than the dual quad set up. Period. Not my words, these are the words of Father Hemi Tom Hoover

    B block 6 pack

This is not drag racing! Street cars Six pak will outrun the 4bbl on the same engine. Always The hit from the six pak is like no other - like having an NOS button that does not run out of gas. This is not rocket science -there is some good documentation out there that requires brain engagement...

    Lowering blocks

Using the front spring hanger to lower the car is a better fix than lowering blocks because it improves the roll ctr of the car. Not hearsay, something i learned with the technical support of Bill Reilly at RMS while i was setting up cars to go faster than everyone else

    Clutch Shudder Normal?

clutch chatter....is not normal at all. Start with the fundamentals - the bellhousing needs to be CHECKED with a dial indicator set up for run out and squareness. The closer to 0.0000 inches the better - do not accept mediocrity when excellence is required. If this is not correct nothing will...

    Need Air Compressor Advice

Most noise from the compressor is from the intake. Plumbing the intake to a fresh air supply outside the room significantly reduces the noise and keeps the tank air from being contaminated by what's in the shop air. If the air is to be used for painting this is critical.

A theory on pulling front drum brakes - I need some schooling!

Based on the pictures provided - there are old and or worn out suspension parts along with suspension parts having crusty surfaces. Perhaps the brake pulling problem is from worn out suspension parts and other related mechanical items...........

    Best Drum Brake Recommendations

I call BS on the play. Asbestos linings crack when they get overheated. They also FADE quickly. I have done many many many lining upgrades...maybe i should post the pictures of the velvetouch shoes i have that were used for many high speed 140 mph stops...they got so hot the yellow paint is...

    the death of Roadkill

a bunch of 12 years olds with a show & no limit credit card being watched by another bunch of 12 year olds going on 50-60 something. Questionable work quality, lack of reasonable safety precautions in work and execution makes for a good juvenile show

BS on changing tire alignment specs from stock.

Well I see many of us have been all wrong with the modern alignment specs. If the stubborn old schoolers had the opportunity to compare what they think is optimum driving/handling barge [their car] by driving the cars and barges we built for ourselves and others they would not be thinking like...

one of my long time friends is a flat earther........

lol...lot's of scientists on here. Both sides of the equation have questions they cannot answer; however that requires an objective view without one's opinion slanting the view.

one of my long time friends is a flat earther........

Ignorance is a learned skill that closes the open mind to understanding reality. Instead of making fun of what you think is "true" because your programming is over ruling any form of logic left in the brain - look at the questions BOTH sides raise in the discussion. Water is flat is it not...

B Bodies and Road Courses - My Super Bee Setup

I have 24+ years of hot road course laps in various mopars, so i may know something. JCC knows nothing about street driven cars set up for hot laps and how the lap times drop with changes made to the car over time and laps. The deflection is blah blah blah as it's the sum of the parts working...

Is there a better cam for me?

Looks like another lazy big block stroker six pak that may be overcammed. Six pak is not set up properly, too much jet and the outboards need to be touched. Six pak Set up & Tune up is incorrect. A simple statement that means a lot. I am not here to fix this just to point the op in the right...
