As the title says, finally got her back! Still a few little issues--namely the carburetor is in thorough need of a rebuild--but finally, in my hands once more.
So my Coronet is very nearly finished in it's repair, but it looks like the rear door and rear quarter trim pieces have gone missing. Probably it was so damaged I threw it away after the wreck... It was years ago so I don't remember, but that's likely it. These pieces had the black rubber (or...
Hello, it has been a while. But finally, she is nearing completion. Not completely done mind you, but off the rack and in primer! Should hopefully be just a month or two left...
So, it got hit pretty hard, and some parts could not be salvaged, like the rocker panel. I managed to find another...
I might be interested in the right rear quarter, and right B-pillar, depending on how things go with my own car. Won't know for a few weeks though, at least.
And that Fury was a good one too, assuming road worthy; although the base 318 engine, it was the top trim. Bleh, if it hadn't been a 20 hour drive away I probably would have already tried to get it...
Thanks, but I already have a 1971 /6 Valiant, I'm not getting another 6cyl. But it's not near...
sigh....seems I have no good options now...I don't wanna spend 8k just just to fix it, let alone anything I would have wanted to do to it before I got wrecked...
I haven't even had the car for a year.....that said, the 72 Fury I'd be happy to take in its place, assuming no issues that'd prevent me from driving it whenever I like.
"Link does not work". Ok, I'll try it this way, guess I didn't format the other one right...
I see...
To be honest, I'm seriously wondering about just getting this instead; assuming that the expired link is simply due to being up too long and not that it has sold (it's bee reposted multiple times). The only problem is the location, OK vs me being in NC. But I rather like this car too...
I have not yet contacted anyone, been having other stuff to work on. Just went and got some photos of floor; not the best though as it's night.
Problem is, it's almost impossible to find 4 door coronets, in 1970 model, in any price, in any condition...seems everyone who has one is either "I'm...
Sorry if this is the wrong section, or if I missed a similar thread, I hope I did it right.
Anyway, a back in January my Coronet got wrecked by an inattentive driver (no drivetrain damage, I was able to drive it home), and now I'm wondering, what would be the expected price for fixing this...
Sad Update: the vehicle has been wrecked this morning. Struck when someone attempted to pull through a stop sign right as I was going by. No injuries, not physically at least.
Sorry to resurrect an older thread, but I just remembered something that may be important: it is a factory AC car, with that 2-piston compressor. Might that affect fitment of certain manifolds? I'd like to go with a Thermoquad in the future, but I'd rather not get rid of the AC if possible.
For sale are a set of four 15x7" American Racing wheels, 5x4.5 bolt, with 225/70R15 BF Goodrich tires. The tires date back to at least 2016 (as there were listing for the car then with these on), but they do not seem to have been used very much.
These came mounted on my 1970 Coronet, but I...
