Looking to understand what the difference in casting numbers was for rear drum brake wheels cylinders 2881613 vs 2881612. I have a 69 Charger R/T, Nov 68 build.
Any idea which number is more correct for my application or are they both?

I asked this question on another post concerning the correct color for the Steering Shaft for my 69 Hamtramck built charger (11/27/1968). Had some responses that cars built at Lynch Road or St Louis could either be left bare natural steel or dipped in black paint.

Cant figure this one out. I have 11 x 3 front OE drums on my 69 Charger R/T 440. I took it to get aligned and was told my drivers side lower ball joint was bad. I took it home changed both lower ball joints, and figured I would change the brakes, bearings, raceway and seals as well...
looking for the correct color front and back brake drums came from the factory on a 69 charger with steel wheels. Was it black paint or natural steel?

I am doing an OE restoration and wanted to know how the Leaf Springs were detailed from the Factory. I assume they were painted black but was each leaf painted separate and then assembled leaving the Galvanized Straps unpainted? If not was the entire assembly painted at once making everything...
