New HVAC systems manufactured after January 1, 2025 must use A2L refrigerants, such as R-454B or R-32. They are "mildly flammable". Expect to pay more for a new A/C unit.

I didn't like the look of the 26" either. But they worked really well. Especially with not much gear. You can run th epressure pretty high so they don't grab as hard. A torque strap or only a LH solid mount will fix your issue. Tire pressure on the street tires did nothing for mine. The best way...

1970 bumper seal brackets- what is the proper name

Yeah, I don't remember seeing those when I did my '70 Charger grille & bumper. Must be Coronet-specific.

Do you have these little U shaped brackets off of a 70 Coronet front end? They push the plastin into the chrome grille.

From Wiki "in November 2022, at the 27th General Conference on Weights and Measures, it was decided to abandon the leap second by or before 2035"

    Issues with coils

I like the E-Core coils with the CD Ignition systems. On the Charger, I have been running an old Crane PS-91 E-Core coil and old MSD 6AL that are over 30 years old

    Any lift off hood dislikes

...up on the prop rods. People are always willing to help but they always put their thumbs on the hood when guiding the hood on the rods. Drives my F***** nuts but I can't say anything because they are helping me. I just say Thank you. Honestly, for me that's the worst part. I'm 55 too...

I had a 79 Cordoba with a mild 340 in it and 3:91 gears. Stock converter. Ran 14.76 @ RT66 in Joliet. Just like your draggy says. I think you should be able to do better. My trans was on the way out.

    Most significant suspension upgrades, thoughts?

I can say the '71 Charger body seems stiffer than my '69 Coronet(s). For brake vacuum, I have a vacuum reservoir tank. Steering, I will tighten up steering box adjuster to remove slack. It helps on old worn boxes, but only a bit. The power steering still seems over pressured. I think the...

Every effing Mopar I see now a days has those crappy assed looking wheels on it. They are way overdone, and no one would be seen with them on their cars back in the day. My car would be on blocks before I would put them on my cars.

    Most significant suspension upgrades, thoughts?

What benefit do you gain with the adjustable strut rods? I've already got the frame connectors, 1.1" torsion bars and polyurethane bushings so that's covered. I thought the Cal Tracs was more for drag racing, how do they perform in the corners and daily driving? You pretty much listed everything...
