I'm making my fuel lines. Mostly hard line [5/16] but will use fuel hose where necessary.
Quick question. What flare should I use on the hard line where it joins the hose? No flare, double flare, bubble flare??

I sold many of those since they came out. They work well and the shops like them because you can use them on the car. They do quick disconnect fuel line fittings as well.
Tires (and asphalt) around here are way hotter than that, just sitting in the sun.
Imo, you'll be absolutely fine at 50-55 lbs.
California speed limits towing anything is 55 mph. Typical is around 62-65, but I see boats and trailers like yours frequently above 70.

Supposedly 65-67? I may be short on that, but that was my understanding. It does fit the ‘66. I just have nothing to hook the inlet hose to on the end.
