Ok, so I'm pretty set on bias slicks. The only thing as for size is said is 26 inches, which is short but I can lower the rear and it'll be alright, plus it works with my rear end great. Could 28x10.5 be managed though? I wish I had a pair to borrow, so I could see how they ran without buying...

33 IMP, That Grizwald from Erie is a good one ! By all means bring it back to good usable condition using the proper technique . If you want something to hold down your blanket/tarp I would gladly trade you something. Erie is close to me, I'm in Northern Ohio.
in my opinion, Holley Retrobrights is the way to go. Bought em for my 66 Charger. Truly plug-N- play, no modifications required, no screwing around. Available in different color temperatures, so be sure you are ordering what you prefer. Pricey but well worth it...
