what do you guys use to coat your rear quarters with to get the slick rubber off when you get done for the day. this problem is new to me and i am heading to the track in a couple of weeks. last time it was a pain in the butt.

i had to put my car away last fall, dropped valve, with a lot of slick rubber coated on the lower rear 1/4's. needless to say it has hardened on there and thick.
what is the safest way to get it off without screwing the paint up? thanks for any help. rick
