You could use 2-part high strength panel adhesive as it sure won’t pop out but might be a little expensive. On a clean, sandblasted part I think quality body filler would probably hang in there fine.
...several cars that you drive and before you dump big money into them, you stepped back and bought a house. I met a kid that was driving some depreciating piece of s**t hellcat pickup truck and was still living at home. Those types will always live among us, inspiring and...
On my 68 Charger the nylon rivet that holds the window lift bracket to the glass has lots of play. I found a kit on CI, but I'm not sure how to change it.
I watched a video, and one guy said there is a bushing type of piece that the nylon rivet goes thru and it has to be crushed with a C clamp...
Actually I don't think grounding the sending unit too long would damage the Voltage limiter rather it would just destroy the gauge. It's possible but not real likely.

There are still some kids out there interested in cars and car sports. A nephew of ours who graduated HS last year has already been through probably a dozen cars and trucks - finding bargains, swapping, fixing up, swapping, flipping. Now he’s picked up a dirt track car and trying his hand at...
It's a fact that the costs associated with properly restoring a car in most cases will exceed the value of the car, but those costs have grown exponentially over the last decade.
Any money you put into it, you may get back but you might lose. You won't make anything above what you spend on it. If you spend $5 on it today, maybe in 10 years that will pay $10 and maybe not. So don't spend anything on it hoping to make money on it. Projects go for a high price right now and...
