Classic Cars and Cell Phones Don't Mix Well

I understand that Hagerty is selling insurance that is underwritten from another company. But when we sign up for the insurance with Hagerty, then Hagerty should step and fulfill any void their underwriter will not cover. Maybe @68BabyBlue could chime in and let us know how it really works...

Classic Cars and Cell Phones Don't Mix Well

this isn't modern car collision repair...... how do they determine parts? where do they come from? and how long it takes to make them useable? you're entitled to a full quarter, is it shoved forward? buckled at the wheel house? is the bumper hit? does the car have an agreed value? is it...

    Loose Steering

Yeah, thats not a job to do more than once. Lifetime warranties don't mean poo when you're doing the work or having to pay someone to do it and the warranty doesn't cover labor.

Are these OK? Fuel line adapters for Carter to Edelbrock fuel pump.

Thats a bunch of fittings. You should be able to cut that back to one per hole and get what you need. Is the steel tube on the outlet and the hose on the inlet 5/16"? Like Randy said, it does work. One thing I look at is that every fitting in that equation is a restrictor. Yes the hose or tube...

    Roller rockers messed up

Hum...thats a good idea. Didn't know they have em. But it would appear that I need like a .100 lift to get them centered. Not sure that's doable?

5 blade to a 7 blade well it help

We're not likely to solve this debate here with unanimous agreement, however, here's another view from the A-bodies forum and I see some merit in it: 5 blade vs 7 blade clutch fan Post #17 by RustyRatRod: Actually, rumblefish is right. The 5 blade offset fan was made for two purposes. First, it...

Tony Tee...... "I like the idea about improving the reflectivity of the reflectors to make it brighter. But i detect a bit of photo trickery in your photos. The top pic in in bright sunlight with the car casting a shadow on the concrete. And the bottom pic is not . Making the bottom pic...

    Happy Birthday to Nacho-RT74

Don’t know how you occurred, I think I happened because we lived in a log house, without electricity, wood heat and it WAS A VERY FRIGID JANUARY NIGHT. Parents just might have started out trying to get warm. Growing up at that time you would never consider asking what was the reason.

    Bendpak MD6XP lift….anyone use one under a B body?

The drilled and tapped holes on the newer one are an upgrade from the hex nuts welded to the arms on the older lift. I've had my 1500 Ram and my Chargers on these lifts. They are rated for 6000 lbs. The Chargers are at most, around 4000 pounds. The truck is short bed, regular cab, so the...
