This morning I went to install the quarter window interior trim and I don’t have the fastener shown in the picture with an arrow. Rectangular slotted hole.
It accepts a screw at the rear of the trim.
Any help what it’s called and maybe where to look.
Local parts store would be nice as this is...
I thought I would wait until the current exhaust pipes fall apart and then go the twin pipe route. Fiddling with the new 1405 Edelbrock today. Put in and on their cam and manifold and related bits.
I did a dual exhaust, 2 bbl-to-4 bbl intake manifold and carb upgrade on a 1968 Monaco 318 winter beater I had, and it definitely made a fun difference! I don't think headers are worth the bother, either.
Here's a couple more pictures of the frame. Your bottom rail, at the floor, is bent up in the center, on each side of the tunnel, where mine is flat.
The top edge, which would be behind your knee, dips down in the center area where you would be sitting.
