2. The engine gone just means the original motor is, well, gone....... The emphasis on the rear gutter lip stamp adds creditability that the car is NOT a rebodied car, i.e in this case, that it is a real Superbird. Now, Superbirds are unique in terms of the radiator core support number stamp...
My car was the 614 PR automatic car. The former Russo car (Mike Russo I believe was his first name) is the 610 4speed cat currently owned by Richard M. I have spoke to the son, Mike Russo, alot about his car when I owned mine. The 610 and 614 are the last 3 digits of the VINs and how we...

Yes, the Superbird wing sweeps rearward more and it also slants inboard a wee bit. That is why the horizontal stabilizer of a Superbird is narrower than a Daytona.
The weekend was a nice and Sunny day here in the Houston area. After I got home from the Grocery store with the Daytona I figured it would be cool to finally get the 2 outside together.
The new owner plans on finishing the car and possibly take it to next year's MCACN... I'll be there with the 'Bird, got a special invite this week and I'm pumped about not only going, but having my car there too...
Some racing day photos..
#16, I'm assuming right after Mr. Lindsley bought the Superbird and started campaigning it.. It is still white with vinyl top.
Then as the #484 painted a darker color...
A near disaster when the tow truck caught on fire. They literally dragged the car off the...
