For all of You Train Lovers

I know little, but I read that they used cheaper ballast and used track in rail yards. Track that that couldn't be trusted for mainline use. The ballast in the rail yard was sifted by me.

    Dad's First Car - '74 Road Runner

Color is great! My second car, first Mopar was a `73 SSP, just a 318 car. I`ve owned five other `73-4 Plymouth B-bodies over the years, some beaters, projects and one `74 road runner I "restored" and sold.

What do you think of these rims on a Charger?

I wanted 15" steel wheels but they wont clear the front calipers. For race, they will be changed to 15". But, I think they serve their purpose. Once the car is painted, they may get turned bronze.

Lowest new gas prices in your area?

It's the same here. No non ethanol except lawn equipment because of bad air pollution in ATL. I think 91 10% is about 3.50 here now. I burn 89 in my 11 challenger, it's about 3.00 now.

    1970 Hood Indicator Restoration

just noticed is a full one piece insert on to the hood opening. So I guess ALL inserts needed to be opened to accept the lights. So the parts catalog doesn’t show two diff inserts, one to cars with lights and the other without.

Re-attaching trunk lid skin to the structure - process?

I`v e done plenty of door skins but never a hood or trunk skin. I have the correct anti-flutter material coming later this week but need advice on how to re-attach it. Do I simply lay down all the blobs of anti-flutter, drop on the skin on and start hammering over the edges or do I need to press...

    Splash Shields Galore!

Do you mean these shields like on my '69 Road Runner? Not sure about the other one. They are RT and LT. Not sure if this is one of the two things that you are looking for.

    1970 Hood Indicator Restoration

Yes, that was my question. I though that, like on Chargers, when no optioned the hood got a plug/filler. And when turn lights was optioned the full piece was replaced with the propper bezel and light assembly in place of the plug/filler.
