I like the 'square birds' 64-66
'bullet birds' 61-63 were pretty cool looking too
not a big fan of the 'baby birds' 55-57 (If I had to a 57 would be OK)
or thru 'fat 4 eyed birds' 58-60 are all too bulbus
or later then 66, when they became LTDs with a beak, smog machines
this silver 64...
I'm on the opposite end of the scale. I don't care for T-birds, and least of all the 1967 model year. The taillights looked like Fig Newtons to me. Fig-Newtonbird.
Just find a experienced welder/ repair shop they will fix it right.. disappointing for sure, fixable you bet... nickel rods are what I’ve always heard also heard preheating the block before welding .. there is a process and it will be fine.
