Well, I don't understand how you get quench without getting to much compression, I've got a 413 I'm gonna tear down and rebuild just to learn and have been playing with this compression calculator, closed chamber heads, 413 bored 30 over and a 20 thou steel head gasket with 75 cc chamber heads...
My wife managed to find the only red one within 300 miles at a local dealer. Everything else was white, black or battleship gray. All of which she hated. Her previous cars were black, silver, platinum and white so she wanted something different.
The only thing I don't really like about it is...

It's difficult to get quench in an iron open chamber head. The quench areas vary from chamber to chamber. They can be made all the same by machining. Then using a quench dome piston. To be honest not sure it's worth the effort. I built one for a friends 70 Coronet R/T. All chambers equalized and...
Engine itself too. Mostly misfires. Cold start misfires, misfires under load, etc. The issue with just slapping a hemi in these new vehicles is the engine control electronics. We would have to design the new stuff to control the hemi and then have the feds approve it. Time suck.
That sticker looks familiar Dave, probably the same year I was there. I believe they let people out on the big track the year before and had problems, so they wouldn't let us out on it. I would have been driving this cuda.
I believe that article is wishful thinking. There is no more challenger as now the charger is a 2 door. The hemi is back as an option for the ram, maybe. Nothing has changed so far as I've heard.
Geez. I lost you because apparently I can’t read. I mis-read the description as six pack (assuming a convert) v trak pack. Consider a premature epostulation on my part.
Sorry gentlemen. Onto a second cup of coffee.
I have a 2021 RT. I’ve had it since new. Plenty of power and very comfortable on long trips. The only complaint I had was the plastic cover on the rear view mirror base would rattle a little sometimes. A small piece of 3m double sided tape fixed it.
Not to mention they are basically unfixable, dealers are stuck with the cost cutting product engineering, to make big profit for stellantis, (my opinion due to the products i bought from them) after FCA had a decent reliable product in the ram and hemi lines. I had a 2014 Ram one of the best...
Very interesting video. An almost completely locked up flywheel still only generated 300 amps. I would have assumed more. The cables are going to limit the current ultimately, as will the starter internals. Pretty cool stuff.
Ha..ha...didn't notice the unfocused pic when I posted it. Wasn't on a trampoline or drinking as another suggested. Merely a bit excited. I'll look into Tri City, thanks.
