British Beaufighters cripple an enemy convoy off the south coast of Norway. Flying through cloud down to sea level, the Beaufighters from Coastal Command completely surprised the German convoy. In this photo, three armed trawlers and a motor vessel are on fire after a cannon attack by the...

    71 Super Bee Radiator Reconfiguration

The Glen-Ray radiator arrived today. Haven’t opened the box yet. I was looking at the alternator/water pump belt I got from NAPA and must say it is really bad.. Now I know why it was $5.50. No way I’m putting this belt on my car. It’s going back. It says “made in USA” on the belt, and it...

    Valve Lash

Year's ago, for the GM/Corvette 327/300 HP aftermarket cam, the HOT issue, was the Zora-Arcus Dontov 30-30 cam......0.030" cold valve lash both intake and exhaust valves......sounded like a Singer sewing machine, idling at 1100 RPMs.....sounded wonderful and ran extremely well......7000 RPM...

    DOGS

It hasn't been long since Lumi has passed, but my sister-in-law is a little crazy. She has anywhere between 50-60 horses depending, 20-30 dogs depending(French Bulldog/Corgis), 8 pet longhorns, 10 Highland, 2 mules, a skunk that rides her horse with her to the tavern. She has had a tortoise that...

    I hate plumbing

I would not use shark bite fittings that would not be accessible such as inside a wall cavity. They are great for quick repairs but I'm of the opinion that solder is the only sure way to permanently join copper pipes and fittings.

1967 GTX / Belvedere pkg tray color

As far as I know they were. I'm gathering parts for a beige with red interior 67 GTX ccurrently and the upper door panels were red and the ragged package tray and kick panels were red to. The fender tag confirms a R under the U.

    I hate plumbing

Lfelong fire sprinkler guy here. To me, it's all just pipe and fittings... That said, when I put this house up here 25 years ago, I did it all with pex and knock wood, only one leak in all these years (which was quickly remedied with a shark bite/gator bite type fitting). Pex is far more...
