`70 road runner, FC7, 383, 727 It`s waited long enough, finally time to get it done.

Hopefully the last skim of mud and I can get it in epoxy tomorrow or Saturday. I also skimmed a slight wave in the roof.

Higher quality input shaft seal A833

I’m not finding a sleeve that will fit which is probably why no one lists one specific to the 23 spline input. My shaft measures 1.056/7 inches and all I can find have an inside diameter of 1.063 inches. The next one down is 1.024”. So guess I’m stuck with just trying a new seal. I’ve been...

Are these washer tank screws or something else?

I had a 67 satellite and a67 sport fury and they both had those copper washers on the screws. They looked identical to your picture.

Don't miss it. Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals.

Hey guys. I’m here on recon duty deep in a jungle of gems on wheels. If that ‘62 Dart is any indication of what’s in store for us, we need a bigger boat. It’s going to be epic.

    Adjustable rocker fitment

Have a question for the more experienced. Do the iron adjustable rockers, Isky/Crane/440 Source etc, fit under the stock stamped steel valve covers?

    Rebuilding LemonWedge.

We rely upon the NHRA rule book here. There are an items required with the vehicle at the level I’m at, which is legal down to 10.0. We’re already good to go there. Once you dip into the 9’s, you enter another zone of safety requirements, many of which must be updated regularly. The cost of...

Higher quality input shaft seal A833

No, I would say the seal looked pretty good and not old - but sure wasn’t sealing. I’m measuring the seal area on the shaft at 1.056 to 1.057” so I don’t know what stock is. The seal was not in backwards either.

No, I found certain places advertising them for an 18 spline, like Brewers. But I have the measurements now and I’ll see if I can match them up to something on SKFs website. Thanks

    Looking for car cover suggestions

I don't think it comes in blue anymore. It's a size 4 and is light and easy to deal with. As long as you only need it to be used inside and for dust purposes it's great. Spending 300 bucks for a cover for in your garage doesn't make sense. My car is impeccably clean and it works for me.
