The guy who bought the car,said that when he told the guy who sold him the car the fender tag was a reproduction,the seller said that he still had the original tag and gave it to him. He never said why he didn't give it to him when he bought the car.

It's also strange that they removed the fender tag. While it does contain vehicle information, it's not recognized as a VIN tag. Has the matching numbers engine been authenticated?
