Was that cast iron bracket the goes across the top of the intake painted with the engine or did it go black? Since it’s held on with two of the intake bolts I was curious. Still trying to hunt that particular bracket up by the way. Thought I had one but it’s for a 440. Too wide.

Ordered the second one down. Looks in really nice shape and if I I am goi tk have to paint it anyway it doesn’t matter about color. Even that blue one would have to be painted to look new.
