good question . i have peeled off the chrome on parts the surface was smooth but the chrome spray paint in the old days was silver at best .that is what interest me about this prosses . post looks good maybe he can help you.

I didn’t see that episode. The Monte Carlo would lift so much it could bind the u joints. I did see the episode with the caprice and that was goofy as heck. It’s a wonder some of the stuff goes down the road at all!
I’ve heard of bars getting magnetized during the steel making process, and they demagnetize them by whacking the end with a sledgehammer. I’ve never seen it done though.

Yea it made 620hp/540tq left some on the table though as I wanted everything under hood with no scoop it’s a very tight fit! Had to have a custom air cleaner base made.
Why is it so hard for some sellers to vacuum the floor before taking pictures? Notice the brown funk growing on the the right side of the carpet & the discoloration on the left side. This leads me to believe that water is leaking in.
