I may be wrong but I think Hagerty relies on public sales info, i.e., auction sales. It updates quarterly. And prices can be influenced to some extent by random events like when there are top cars for one model year that sell high versus a bunch of lower quality cars for a different model year...

I’m here at Mecum. The white 68 stripe delete car was very nice. The red interior was stunning, perhaps it was the dark rich color, really grabs you. A bunch of wing cars will cross later today and tomorrow. Interesting how many are not all-original, but still a colorful sight to see all together.
