SRV and Billy Gibbons, 2 legendary Texans. Unfortunately SRV was taken too early like @JDmac72chrgr said, what’s worse (if that’s possible) he was just starting his road to sobriety
Same here....I just priced out a complete Gardner system $2330.66 (pre pay no charge card 3% fee) and a complete Accurate system $2365.00 (no discount for prepay) system yesterday....
They sales guy said Accurate is having a 10% sale right now and warns about a price increase due to the govt...
Okay. I agree. I just wanted you to qualify your statement for the OP so there is no confusion.
He’s planning aluminum heads. I’m sure he’d be okay at 10:1 - 10.2:1 on 91 octane.
I’m at 10.8:1 at 1,000 ft elevation with a heavy car, tall gear, and fairly small cam with 93 octane.
Looking for real 68 Coronet R/T tail panel in excellent to mint shape, (unless you have a NOS one)
Please no modified 500 tail panels with reproduction R/T emblems that don't fit, or ones that are spray bombed, pitted, or dinged ones.
Looking for a real nice one.
Thank you

Sad finding out how understaffed they were along with types they were hiring and with all the close calls the last few years it was bound to happen... Clearly a tragedy that was avoidable. I can guarantee competent proper staffing won't be an issue moving forward.
So my 68 RR came with AC and the book calls for a six vane water pump. If I had the original I would get it rebuilt but I don’t have it. All the parts houses seem to have are standard eight vane. I am going back O.E. so I really would like to have the pump style the factory said it needed. Do...

Not sure (Dodge) I believe the roof and windows might be a little different shape, so this is why I listed them for only a Plymouth. I got the pair with a 68 Plymouth Satellite a few years back. The post car (2) door are slightly different in Plymouth cars. Bob horman
Agreed value of $70K with State Farm/Hagerty, down to one car. Was cheaper when I had two. My rate went up slightly when State Farm merged their classic car coverage with Hagerty. I'm in the same ballpark as OP, paying about $320 per year.
I wouldn't complain too much at that premium on $50K agreed value, especially on a sole classic car. I have a hard time believing it's even that cheap...
Some more 1970 340 6 Pack parts that i have identified for sale, from my stash, hoard, scrounge, accumulation of parts from 40 + years ago.
These parts are the accelerator cable mount bracket, and the return spring bracket, mounted on the intake manifold.
Sell both at $75.00 bucks, plus...
If I'm building an aluminum head engine for me, it's likely to be on the more strip side of street/strip. It'd have a too-big cam for a daily, and probably around 11-11 1/2, and run on pump gas with a little av-gas sweetener.
I don't think that's what the o.p. wants.
( been high nines, very low...
